Shannon and Kyle Pope were born and raised in Louisa. Together, they have two sons, Landyn and Brendyn. To the Popes, Louisa is a small town with a big heartbeat. The community and family element of Eastern Kentucky is unmatched.
Both Shannon and Kyle gave their lives to the Lord and were baptized as teenagers. Serving alongside each other at The Table is a great blessing to them and experiencing the goodness of God is the best part. Shannon says God called her and her family to The Table. It’s a place where real people are doing real life together while caring for the community and sharing and learning more about Father.
While leading worship, Shannon is immersed in Jesus. She uses her God-given gifts to strengthen the congregation’s faith through worship. She is focused on creating a safe place for people to experience God’s presence. For Shannon, it’s not about perfection, it’s about authenticity.
